I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Tarleton State University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology, with research at the intersection of Responsible AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Biometrics, Computational Psychology, and Cybersecurity. My work focuses on identity verification, behavioral modeling, and ethical AI, with an emphasis on fairness, robustness, and interpretability. I have developed machine learning systems for face recognition, person re-identification, long-distance recognition, and deepfake detection. With an M.S. in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering, I bring interdisciplinary expertise to designing AI systems that are accurate, equitable, and socially responsible. My teaching and research are driven by a passion for creating AI technologies that are transparent, inclusive, and impactful.
